The large terrace and pool area provide the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Cretan sunshine. Located close to the 3 main beaches on the East Coast (only 10 minutes walk away) which offer water-sports such as Jet Ski's and Pedalos, you may also have the chance to join in a beach volleyball game! Whether you want to relax in it's peaceful surroundings or drive 10 minutes out to take in the night life of Malia, there's plenty of variety on this gorgeous island.

Villa Michalis is situated between the old town of Epano Sissi and the more lively main village of Sissi itself.

Epano Sissi has just two restaurants conveniently located either side of the only junction in the village. Both restaurants come very highly recommended and offer genuine authentic Greek food, whether you require a snack or an evening meal. This is a real taste of Crete and Cretan hospitality at its best and more conveniently, both are right on your doorstep! Alternatively, for those who wish to cater for themselves, you will find shops stocking plenty of groceries, fresh feta cheese and beautiful freshly baked bread as well as local supermarkets to keep you stocked up during your stay.

The main coastal village with picturesque port is a contemporary tourist summer resort. Its clean beaches with their warm and calm waters invite you for a swim. Nature lovers can follow biking or trekking paths and enjoy the wonderful landscape around Sissi. Furthermore, visitors have the opportunity to taste the real Cretan way of life,

Sissi is located 40 km from Iraklion and 25 km from Agios Nikolaos, near to all the places you should see, yet it remains quiet and calm. The landscape is well balanced between sea and mountains. The sea is warm and calm and there are small, clean and romantic beaches. Visitors will be sure to enjoy the Cretan way of life.
